OYSTER FARm EXPERIENCE
A guided 10 kilometer ride.
Starting by the Swan River, on an easy quiet rural road cycling to Nine Mile Beach. Around 3 hour tour with a leisurely lunch.
Cycle on the beach (tides permitting) to Melshell Oyster Shack. A beautiful coastline with shore birds and the noise of the waves.
See Moulting Lagoon, the amazing bird life and cycle the picturesque Nine Mile Beach on the way.
Meet the owners, Cassie and Ian Melrose, hear their story and the Oyster Shack's history.
Enjoy an oyster shucking experience and taste the oysters.
Your Tour Includes:
Pick up and drop off at accommodation.
Trek mountain bikes, helmet, water.
Bicycle handlebar bags (for phone, valuables etc)
Support vehicle.
Oyster shucking experience, taste freshly shucked oysters.
Melshell offers a set menu of delightful seafood for our cycle tour customers.
Local East Coast wines included with your lunch.
COST: $165 per person
Around 10 am pick up and we drive you home after lunch. Times can vary to suit low tides.
If customers are staying outside the Swansea area a fee is charged for pick up and drop off.
Coles Bay $50 each way per vehicle (4 people per vehicle). Bicheno $50 each way per vehicle (4 people per vehicle).
